Looking for ADVENTURE, EXCITEMENT, KNOWLEDGE & INSPIRATION ?

I am always looking for an opportunity to learn and be inspired; that's how I grow as an artist. Books, magazine articles and online portfolios provide excellent ways to learn about all aspects of photography but nothing beats attending a live performance by a distinguished artist. Whether you are a novice, intermediate, advanced, semi-professional, professional or accomplished photographer, there is always something you can learn and take away, depending on how receptive you are!

PAUL ZIZKA, this year's presenter at the 5th Annual Manitoba Photo Event, will provide an excellent opportunity for you to learn and be inspired. Paul, an award-winning photographer from Banff, Alberta will be presenting a one-day seminar on Saturday, May 12, 2018 which will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The event takes place at the:

    SAMUEL N. COHEN AUDITORIUM
St. Boniface Hospital - 351 Taché Avenue
    WINNIPEG, MANITOBA

Topics to be covered in the seminar include:

Based upon his travels and explorations over 7 continents, Paul will present on:

This coming Saturday, April 29, Manitoba Photo Events is sponsoring their fourth annual weekend extravaganza by hosting fellow photographer from Prince Edward Island DAVE BROSHA. Dave will present a one-day seminar about his work. Then, on Sunday, April 30th, he will conduct a workshop for a smaller group of participants.

The Saturday event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with registration from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The event takes place at the SAMUEL N. COHEN AUDITORIUM of the St. Boniface Hospital at 351 Taché Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A wonderful way to grow as a photographer is to be inspired by the work of fellow artists. No matter who you are, one should always be receptive to seeing the work of other artists. I have attended dozens of photo seminars over the years and they have proven invaluable to my growth as an artist. I plan on attending! Are you?

    FROM VIEWFINDER TO PRINT

This is your last chance to register for the Riding Mountain Photographic Workshop that takes place from June 20-22. Photograph the 'Summer Solstice' - 'the beginning of Summer' - in the sublime environment of Riding Mountain as Ken Frazer and I share our vision, our approaches and techniques in the field and at the computer. There will be plenty of hands-on experience, demonstrations and opportunities to receive positive critiques. Along with learning to create memorable images, you will also learn about what it takes to produce a 'fine print'. Come and share your love of photography with a select group of like-minded individuals in one of the region's most scenic places! For 'everything you need to know about the workshop but were afraid to ask’, please check the website at www.ridingmountainworkshop.com
