    I arrived at the Great Saskatchewan Sand Hills in mid afternoon. I walked about a couple of the dunes making images here and there. I returned to the van after a couple of hours to rest waiting for the evening light. Shortly after, clouds rolled in and it looked like it would not clear that evening. Still, I walked about an hour before sunset, waiting, hoping. Just before the sun would sink below the horizon, the clouds broke just enough to allow strong dramatic light to bathe the landscape

    Art is about creativity and creativity has no bounds. The medium is important to the artist only in as much as it is his or her chosen method of expression.     What a fantastic group I had this past August at the Niagara School of Imaging in Ste. Catharines, Ontario. I could not have hoped for a better group of participants as they were all were very helpful and eager to share with others - it felt as if we had all known each other for years. You can tell from the class photo taken on the shore of Beaverdams Creek, at the historic Morningstar Mill a few miles past Brock University where the school takes place every year.
