Last Sunday afternoon, my youngest daughter dragged me out to La Barriere Park to walk the dog. Although it was particularly dreary outside, I nevertheless kept seeing interesting compositions, mostly of the trees along the LasSalle River. Having left my camera at home for a change, I borrowed my daughter's iPhone and began to make a number of more or less B&W compositions. Back at home, I processed one of the images in an app called FX Photo Studio Pro and then added an 'antique canvas' layer to further warm up the scene. Thus was created 'Trees Forever'.

On a few previous monirngs I had noticed the morning light shining through the living room drapes. I liked the way the light created an interesting pattern this morning and decided to create an image by making three seperate exposures via the HDR (high dynamic range) technique.
