Join me this coming Wednesday evening, January 21, 2015 in the library of Acadia Junior High School, 175 Killarney in Winnipeg, Manitoba for my second presentation of 2015. The evening starts at 7:30 PM.
My presentation is called 'MEDITATIONS'. I originally presented MEDITATIONS in Regina, SK last November at the 2014 'Frame By Frame' Photography Seminar and I have been asked to repeat the same presentation in Winnipeg. Accompanied by recent images, I will share my thoughts and reflections on the Natural World.
If you are not a camera club member but would like to attend, simply let me know and I will admit you as one of my SPECIAL guests! Hope to see you there!

It was a genuine pleasure to see the wonderful turnout last night for my presentation on architecture called 'The Built Environment' for the Manitoba Camera Club! The presence of colleagues and clients that I have worked with in the past was a good testament I think to the excellent work that we all did as contributors, both of the design work itself and of capturing that design in photographs. It was fun to take a trip back into 'memory lane' and revisit architectural projects from the last 20 years.
I was honored last night to have amongst us, a number of architects who have designed and worked on some of the wonderful building projects in Winnipeg. They included Etienne Gaboury, Jason Kasper (Ideate Design Consulting), Larry Hamilton (Architecture 49), Michael Farion (Number Ten Architects) and Mike Karakas (Architecture 49).
Thank you to all who attended - friends, colleagues, members from the various camera clubs and special guests!

I begin the year 2015 with a presentation to the Manitoba Camera Club about 'The Built Environment'. Most of you are familiar with my nature portfolio but few have probably seen my architectural imagery that I have made of the built environment. Through my 19 year career as a full-time professional photographer, I have created a considerable and, I believe, a significant body of work around architecture. From my first architectural assignment documenting The Canadian Science Centre for Human and Animal Health in 1996 to photographing the Canadian Museum for Human Rights for a recent Canada Post stamp in 2014, I have been commissioned by some of the most important architectural firms in Winnipeg.
So, for something completely different, join me this coming Tuesday evening, January 6, 2015 at 7 PM at the Lions Club of Winnipeg building, 610 Portage Avenue (in the Winnipeg Foundation Auditorium). If you are not a camera club member but would like to attend, simply let me know and I will admit you as one of my SPECIAL guests! Hope to see you there!

I will present a program called 'Image Explorations' this coming Wednesday. I invite anyone who is interested in attending the next Winnipeg South Photo Club meeting to be my 'special guest' that evening. This will be a departure from what I have presented in the past and most of you will view imagery not seen before.
Join us this Wednesday evening, November 21 at 7:30 PM in the Library (main floor) of Acadia Junior High School at 175 Killarney Ave. (Fort Richmond area).
