Discovering More of Canada!
I used my PC lens (tilt/shift) to make the sensor (film) plane parallel to the plane aligning the foreground ice with the background water and horizon. This technique permits great depth of field even if you have to use a larger aperture for some reason, either because of high winds, lack of light, use of more than one filter, use of low ISO speed, or any combination of the above. The backlight is particularly beautiful in this image. Lake Winnipeg, Winnipeg Beach, MB
